Limited Partners Advisory Committee

Sterling Jenson, CFA.
Sterling Jenson is a Regional Managing Director of Wells Capital Management, a unit of Wells Fargo & Company. Mr. Jenson is responsible for separate account portfolio management in the mountain region states from Idaho to Texas with combined assets of over $4 billion. Mr. Jenson has extensive experience in both investment management and financial services. Prior to joining Wells Fargo in 1990, he worked in various capacities, including Manager of Trust Investments for First Interstate of Nevada and Moore Trust Company; Director of Equity Research for Smoot, Miller, Cheney & Co.; Portfolio Manager for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Investment Department; and Financial Analyst for Ford Motor Company. Mr. Jenson received a Bachelor's degree in Economics and an M.B.A. from Brigham Young University.

Brian P. Murphy, CFA.
Brian Murphy is a Managing Director of Portfolio Advisors, LLC, where he is member of the firm's Management Committee and Investment Committee and co-heads its advisory services practice. Portfolio Advisors is a Registered Investment Advisor and Qualified Professional Asset Manager that specializes in delivering customized private equity solutions to its clients. The firm manages over $15 billion and administers over $55 billion of private equity investments on behalf of its advisory, funds management, and administration clients. Mr. Murphy has been with Portfolio Advisors since 1996. Previously, he was a Senior Vice President of Morris Anderson Investment Advisors, where he co-managed a $385 million portfolio of direct investments and partnership investments. He started his private equity advisory career at Chemical Bank. Mr. Murphy has served or is serving as an advisory board member of eighteen private equity partnerships. Mr. Murphy received his B.S. in Business Administration from Brigham Young University and an M.B.A. from Columbia University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Jonathan D. Roth.
Jonathan Roth is a Managing Director and President of Abbott Capital Management. Mr. Roth has fifteen years of private equity investment experience and is responsible for the overall management of the firm. He also works closely with clients to develop and implement private equity investment programs. Mr. Roth reviews and approves investment opportunities, with specific emphasis on the analysis and due diligence for prospective investments, and is engaged in the negotiation of business and legal issues, ongoing monitoring of investments and profit realization from distributed securities. Mr. Roth also serves on several partnership advisory boards. Prior to joining Abbott Capital in 1992, Mr. Roth was an Associate at Elmrock Partners and a Financial Analyst with Amoco Corporation. Prior to obtaining his M.B.A., he worked for Chemical Bank as a corporate lending officer. Mr. Roth received his A.B. in Economics from Cornell University and his M.B.A. from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

Gregory S. Butterfield.
Greg Butterfield has served as Group President, Altiris Business Unit of Symantec Corporation since April 2007. From February 2000 to April 2007, Mr. Butterfield served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Altiris and as Chairman of the Board of Altiris from April 2004 to April 2007. Since joining Altiris as a small start-up, Mr. Butterfield guided the company to a successful track record, posting multiple consecutive quarters of revenue and profitability growth. In May 2002, Altiris completed a successful initial public offering and was acquired by Symantec in April 2007. Prior to joining Altiris, Mr. Butterfield held numerous executive management positions in the software industry. Mr. Butterfield holds a B.S. degree in Finance from Brigham Young University. He is an active member in the greater Salt Lake City community and is the past Chairman of Utah's Information Technology Association. In August 2002, Mr. Butterfield was named Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young.

Thomas R. Hodgson.
Tom Hodgson completed his 27-year career at Abbott Laboratories — a $22 billion globally diversified Fortune 100 health care company — in January 1999. He was elected to the Abbott Board of Directors in 1985, serving most recently as President and Chief Operating Officer from 1990-1998. Earlier positions at Abbott included President of the Hospital Products Division (1978-1983) and President of Abbott International (1983-1990). Prior to joining Abbott, Mr. Hodgson was an Associate with Booz Allen and Hamilton Management Consultants and served in the U.S. Army as a lieutenant. Mr. Hodgson earned a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University, an M.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He was awarded an honorary doctorate degree in engineering by Purdue University. Mr. Hodgson is a trustee of Rush University Medical Center, and is a member of the Board of Directors of The Travelers Companies, Inc. and Idenix Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

Jerry M. Kennelly.
Jerry Kennelly co-founded Riverbed Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:RVBD) in May 2002 and serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors and as President and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to co-founding Riverbed, Mr. Kennelly spent six years at Inktomi Corporation, an infrastructure software company, where he served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Secretary. From June 1990 until joining Inktomi in October 1996, Mr. Kennelly worked for Sybase, Inc., an infrastructure software company, in a number of senior financial and operational positions, most recently as Vice President of– Corporate Finance. From November 1988 until June 1990, Mr. Kennelly worked at Oracle Corporation as finance director for U.S. operations. From June 1980 until November 1988, Mr. Kennelly worked at Hewlett-Packard Company as Worldwide Sales and Marketing Controller for the Tandem Computers Division. Mr. Kennelly holds a Bachelor's degree from Williams College and an M.B.A. from the New York University Graduate School of Business Administration.

Douglas R. Schneider.
Douglas Schneider is a technology business executive and entrepreneur with over fifteen years of experience in wireless and Internet related companies. Most recently, he served as President, Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Hosting Business Unit for Verio, an NTT Communications Company. In this role, he architected a highly profitable, premier global service company that met the needs of over one million SMEs in 140 countries. In an earlier role as President, Web Services, he built and managed Verio's distribution channels and service operations for its shared server, virtual server, dedicated server, and enterprise hosting product lines, which collectively represented the world’s largest domain-based hosting company. Prior to joining Verio, Mr. Schneider co-founded a Denver-based Internet service provider, which was subsequently purchased by Verio. In 1994 Mr. Schneider co-founded and served as President of a regional distribution company that performed customized equipment fulfillment services for OneComm and Nextel with their first generation of wireless digital ESMR products. From 1991 to 1994, he served in marketing and sales roles with CellularOne. Mr. Schneider received a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of California, Davis and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Anthony B. Evnin, Ph.D., Venrock.
Anthony Evnin is a General Partner of Venrock, one of the oldest venture capital firms in the U.S. Tony joined Venrock in 1974 and built the firm's healthcare franchise, helping to shape the modern biotechnology industry. He started his career as a Research Scientist and Group Leader in Organic Chemistry at Union Carbide and as Director of Product Development at Story Chemical. Six of Dr. Evnin’s portfolio companies have entered the public market in the last three years, and over twenty-nine of his investments have been through an IPO during his Venrock tenure. He led Venrock's investments in such companies as Athena Neurosciences, Centocor, Genetics Institute, IDEC Pharmaceuticals, IDEXX Laboratories, and Sepracor. He has been a member of The Rockefeller University Board of Trustees since 1999. He is a Trustee Emeritus of Princeton University. Dr. Evnin serves on the boards of Coley Pharmaceutical Group, Icagen, Infinity Pharmaceuticals, Memory Pharmaceuticals, Pharmos, Renovis, Sunesis Incorporated, and numerous private companies. Dr. Evnin received an A.B. from Princeton University and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Bob Pavey, Morgenthaler Ventures.
Mr. Pavey, based in Cleveland, Ohio, and Menlo Park, California, joined Morgenthaler in 1969 and has been a Partner since 1971. From 1990 to 1992, he served as volunteer President and then Chairman of the National Venture Capital Association, and in 2005 received the NVCA's Outstanding Service Award. His major focus is on semiconductors, materials, and devices. He sits on the board of directors of Building B, CLK Design Automation, Five Star Technologies, Intelleflex, Lamina Ceramics, Paratek Microwave, Renaissance Wireless, and Xoomsys, Inc. During his tenure, Mr. Pavey has been involved in many of the firm's successful investments: Apple Computer, Applied Intelligent Systems (acquired by Electro Scientific), Aptis Communications (acquired by Nortel Networks), Atria Software (acquired by Rational Software), Endwave, Gliatech, Illustra Information Technologies (acquired by Informix), Intrinsa (acquired by Microsoft), New Focus, Synernetics (acquired by 3Com), and Synopsys. From 1967 until 1969, Mr. Pavey held several management positions with Foseco, Inc. He received a B.S. in Physics from The College of William & Mary in 1964, an M.S. in Metallurgical Engineering from Columbia University in 1965 (awarded in 1966), and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 1967.

Jim Swartz, Accel Partners.
Jim Swartz has been active in venture capital for four decades. Experienced in the operating needs of young companies, he particularly enjoys working with start-up teams that are defining new industries. He has served as a director for over fifty successful companies and has been closely involved as lead investor with the emergence of numerous industry pioneering firms, including Avici Systems, BroadBand Technologies, FastForward/Inktomi, FVC.com, Illustra/Informix, Medical Care America, Netopia, PictureTel, Polycom, Remedy Corporation, Riverbed Technology, and Ungermann-Bass. Before founding Accel Partners, Jim was founding General Partner of Adler & Company, which he started with Fred Adler in 1978 after his tenure as a Vice President of Citicorp Venture Capital. Early in his career Jim worked as a management consultant, entering the venture capital industry in 1972. Active in industry affairs, Jim is former Chairman of the National Venture Capital Association and a former President of the New York Venture Capital Forum. He is involved in numerous civic and charitable organizations, including the Swartz Foundation, Christian Community Center of Park City, U.S. Ski and Snowboard Foundation, Pacific Community Ventures, Deer Valley Music Festival, and YMCA of Martha's Vineyard. From 1999 to 2002, he served on the Management Committee of the Salt Lake Organizing Committee for the Winter Olympics of 2002 (SLOC). He is a graduate of Harvard University with a concentration in Engineering Sciences and Applied Physics and holds an M.S. in Industrial Administration from Carnegie Mellon University. He is the recipient of a Merit Award from Carnegie Mellon University and an Honorary Doctorate Degree from the Western Governors University.
